Photography has always been second nature to me. I grew up in a home filled with art—my parents both had BFAs, so creativity was just part of daily life. I spent hours in our darkroom, drawn in by the quiet magic of developing photos. That’s where the spark started.
After earning my BFA from Parsons, I spent several years leading a fashion brand, but I always knew I felt most at home behind the camera. Eventually, I made the leap into full-time photography, and it changed everything. What started as a solo venture has now grown into a team of five, and we’re building something really special together.
Because I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Photography allows me to connect deeply—with people, with stories, with fleeting moments that deserve to be remembered. It’s not just about taking beautiful pictures; it’s about capturing something meaningful and honest. This work brings me purpose, and it gives me energy. It’s who I am.
Over the years, I’ve been lucky to collaborate with incredible clients—brands like Spotify, Sony, New York or Nowhere, Saint James, and & Other Stories, as well as PR agencies like Shadow and 5th Column. I’ve edited for The Met Gala and covered high-profile events with BFA.
But just as important are the intimate shoots—the engagements, weddings, portraits, and personal milestones. We approach every project with the same level of care and excitement, whether it’s a major brand campaign or a quiet, candid moment between two people in love.
I think people are drawn to how we make them feel. We’re detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and genuinely invested in the experience—not just the final product. Clients trust us because we show up with intention, and we care about telling their story in a way that feels real. We bring structure and clarity to the process while still keeping it fun and human.

Steck Studios is growing, and that’s something we’re really proud of. What began as just me with a camera has evolved into a full creative team of five. We’re continuing to build a studio rooted in collaboration, care, and high-impact storytelling.
We’re taking on projects that challenge us, expanding our reach, and staying grounded in our values. The energy we’re putting into this next chapter is about connection, creativity, and community. And we’re just getting started.

Running an art studio turned coffee shop somewhere in the mountains—think good light, strong espresso, soulful playlists, and space for people to create and connect.
What’s a piece of advice you live by?
If it feels off, trust that. If it lights you up, run toward it. You’ll never regret choosing clarity.
What do you love most about photographing people?
The moment they drop their guard. That blink between posed and real—that’s the good stuff.
